NEW YORK : PPPP leader and former president Asif Ali Zardari, who has been in New York since Sunday, has postponed his departure for Washington till Monday in view of the ferocious snowstorm which is likely to hit the US capital in the next few hours, according to party sources.
Zardari, who is staying in super luxury Four Seasons Hotel, was scheduled to depart for Washington by train yesterday for talks with US officials and lawmakers. He will be joined in Washington by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the former Pakistan ambassador to the US Sherry Rehman, the sources said.
A 'family reunion' is also planned in Washington after Zardari's daughters -- Bakhtawar and Assefa - joined him there.
