Intel agencies declare Faisalabad MPA guilty

FAISLABAD- The intelligence agencies have forwarded report of the alleged attack on police station by the PML-N MPA Rana Shoaib Idrees to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Tuesday.
According to the report, Rana Shoaib Idrees has been declared guilty and has also been accused of backing drug dealers, reported a private a TV channel. PML-N lawmaker attacked the Khurianwala Police Station along with armed men and took away Rana Zulfiqar Bhutto and his three accomplices charged in a murder case.
The intelligence agencies have submitted the report of the incident to the Punjab Chief Minister. The report states that Rana Shoaib Idrees accompanied by 40 men entered the police station by force and attacked SHO Khalid Pervaiz. During the violent attack, an ASI lost his teeth. The report further states that Rana Shoaib Idrees has been backing drug dealers and has been involved in extortion. According to the report, Rana Zulfiqar Bhutto who has been rescued from the police station carried Rs100,000 as bounty on his head.
The party has decided to seek resignation from Rana Shoaib Idrees. Rana Shoaib agreed to his arrest following Shahbaz Sharif’s direction.
Earlier on Monday, the Punjab CM issued orders for the MPA arrest. The Punjab government had asked the intelligence agencies to submit an impartial report over the incident.
Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood said that the Punjab police had been directed to arrest the MPA. He said Rana Shoaib will be asked to resign if found guilty.
