Mitthi- Tharparkar’s drought is again worsening as another female child died of malnutrition in a hospital in Mitthi.
According to details, the region is again facing the situation it faced before and the sixty eight doctors hired by Sindh government have still not received salary. Despite the fact that provincial government has declared emergency in all the hospitals of the region, doctors are discharging minors without proper care and sometimes within a day declaring them ‘fit’ or shifting them to Hyderabad. Local sources say that if the situation can turn worse if not taken care of. It must be remembered that the region faced a drought a few months before killing number of children and forcing scores to flee.
