WASHINGTON - Former President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Washington for a private visit to the United States, according to informed sources.
The PPP Co-chairperson will attend an Iftar dinner on Tuesday, also expected to be attended by US Vice President Joseph Biden, these sources said. They wouldn’t give any details.
They said Zardari was received at the airport by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the  US Jalil Abbas Jilani. He is also expected to travel to New York during the visit.
