Patient faints as Qadri's flight saga continued

LAHORE- Health of a patient destabilized onboard a plane carrying Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri when the religious party chief refused to get off the plane at Lahore airport, reported a private TV channel.
His flight en route to Islamabad was diverted to Lahore owing to security concerns, however, the PAT chief refused to come out of the plane insisting that he be taken back to the federal capital. Passengers, including media persons and PAT workers, in the flight were stranded as none was being allowed to leave. Amid the drama, health of a heart patient deteriorated. He was provided with oxygen mask.
Qadri spoke to media persons on board the plane and criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. Qadri's followers armed with sticks and bricks clashed with baton-wielding police at Islamabad airport upon receiving the news that flight of the PAT chief has been diverted to Lahore.
