Days of rulers are numbered: PML-N

GUJRANWALA - In the run up to its public rally and part of the ongoing preparations for the massive show of public support here in the city, the PML-N brought out a welcome Nawaz Sharif motorcycle rally from Jinnah Stadium which went through the entire city. The rally led by MNA Khurram Dastgir, Taufique Ahmad Butt, Amir Ikram Butt and Sardar Khalid Malik was participated by hundreds of pillion riders who were banners and placards and shouting slogans Go Zardari Go. Addressing participants of the rally, MNA Khurram Dastgir asked the masses that time had come to get rid of the most corrupt government of the countrys history. He alleged that President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani had been trying to suck the last drop of blood from poor masses after destroying every department and corporation of the country. Now the masses have no other choice but to oust this regime for integrity of the country, he stressed. He expressed his confidence that the PML-N would emerge triumphant yet again like its long march for the restoration of judiciary. The rally started from Jinnah Stadium in the afternoon which marched through main streets of the city. It is to be noted that PML-N has established camps in various localities of the city where its workers have been appealing to people to participate in the rally besides playing national songs round-the-clock. Foreign national among three killed: A foreign national woman and two youths were killed in as many road mishaps here in the city. Reportedly, the Narowal Police recovered the dead body of an approximately 45-year-old woman and removed it to DHQ Hospital Gujranwala for autopsy. The woman appeared to be a foreign national while cause of the death could not be ascertained as there was no torture mark on the body, the police told. Moreover, a 22-year-old Usman Javed died on the spot while his colleague sustained critical injuries when their motorcycle collided with a speeding truck on GT Road near Gulshan Colony in the remit of Cantt Police. Meanwhile, in Kamoke, Zaheer Abbas was crushed to death by a train when he was trying to cross the railway line. The date for Zaheer Abbass marriage was fixed in January.
