Raisani wakes up to security issues



QUETTA – Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has called upon the security forces and officials to frustrate the evil designs of the terrorists and subversive elements out to disrupt the law and order situation.
He said the security forces should adopt a better and foolproof strategy to defeat those criminal elements who are undermining the security environment and creating a risk for life and property of the people.
Addressing a high-level meeting that reviewed law and order with a special reference to preparation to meet challenges during the Ashura here on Thursday, Raisani called upon the security forces and agencies to work as a team to frustrate the evil designs of the subversive elements. He inspected the Control Room established in connection with Muharram and also visited the entire route of Ashura procession and the City police station.
He discussed various aspects of security arrangements keeping in view the bomb attack in Shahbaz Town area the other day and improving the security arrangements with the officials present at various places.
He also held a high-level meeting at the CM Secretariat in which officials and Cabinet Ministers participated.
The meeting took a number of important decisions and the CM ordered to implement those decisions immediately providing a security cover to the life and property of the people during Ashura.
Raisani said that certain elements are trying to disrupt the law and order situation in Balochistan.
The Chief Minister announced that he would personally monitor the security arrangements and remain available to guide the police and security officials on various sensitive issues.
Raisani stressed rapid action on the part of the police and other security agencies.
He directed all concerned officials to ensure supremacy of law and restore the writ of the govt defending the life and property of the people.
