OKARA - A youth was kidnapped from Rajuwal area the other day.
As per detail, Mohammad Sarwar’s brother Mohammad Amin, a resident of Raju Wal was abducted by six accused including Mohammad Amin, Mohammad Ashraf, Waqas Babar Nooman Bashir etc. The police registered a case against the accused. Meanwhile, the police arrested a dancer along with three persons in objectionable condition. Ijaz Ahmad, Sana Ullah and Ghulam Hussain hired a dancer Aliya from Shah Noor Studio Lahore and brought to their deira. Meanwhile, on a tip-off the police raided and arrested them in objectionable condition.
LOUDSPEAKER MISUSE: The police booked four religious scholars on a charge of misuse of loudspeakers.
There is a ban on use of loudspeakers except for Azan and Jumma sermon in the district. However, the police found the scholars misusing loudspeakers in Sabri Colony, Housing Colony, Shahmsia Colony, Akbar Road and Basti Iqbal Nagar.
