PESHAWAR- At least four people were killed in an attack by unknown assailants in Hangu district on Monday.
Sources said unidentified gunmen attacked a police party on Monday near the Qazi Pump area. Khanullah, the SHO of the police station concerned, confirmed the death of three cops and a 15-year-old boy.
District police chief, Anwar Saeed Kundi, said at least four militants in a car came to a police check-post; three of them opened fire, killing three policemen and a passerby. Security personnel, on receiving information, rushed to the site and launched a search operation.
