ISLAMABAD- Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) are responsible for deadlock in dialogue process to peacefully resolve the current political standoff.
In an interview with local tv channel, he said if judicial commission finds any organized rigging in last general election; the government has no right to rule the country. But, the Minister said, a handful of people cannot ask the prime minister, who enjoys comfortable majority in the national assembly, to resign. He said peaceful sit-ins are not problems, but government would not allow the protesters to resort to violence and attack state institutions. Khurram Dastgir said everyone has constitutional right to protest as long as it is within the parameters of the constitution and the law.
