Infant molested; accused caught

SIALKOT: A one-year-old child was criminally assaulted by an accused who was caught and thrashed by the villagers here on Saturday.
The incident occurred in village Nagor-Motra, Daska tehsil and the molester identified as Allah Bakhsh was handed over to the police. The incident occurred when local wheat grower Ahmed Ali and his family were busy harvesting wheat in nearby fields after getting their infant son slept in a nearby dera. Where accused Allah Bakhsh criminally molested the child. On listening to the child’s cry, the other villagers rushed to the scene and caught the molester. They beat the accused badly and handed him over to police. The victim child was admitted to Daska Civil Hospital in critical condition. The police have sent the accused behind the bars and registered a case against him.

Reportedly, the bandits forced their entry into the house of Ch Jamal Hamza, held the family members including women and children hostage at gunpoint. They collected valuables including cash, gold ornaments, saving certificates and others and fled away. The Daska City Police have registered a case with no arrest or clue in this regard.
