A GHAZI KHAN - Six people of a family drowned in a pond while attempt to rescue a girl here at Suleman Ranges in the tribal area, the other day.As per details, a family, resident of Taunsa Sharif went to a pond in Gulki area for picnic. Suddenly a girl identified as Safia Bibi slipped into the pond while other family members attempted to rescue her. Although she was rescued but other six family members including two sisters - Sana Bibi, Madeeha Bibi, daughters of Abdul Qayyum, Roop Zahra, Uzma Bibi, Kake Khatoon and another member of the family drowned.The personnel of Border Military Force and locals reached the spot and recovered all the bodies. The bodies were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
