TURBAT - Unknown miscreants gunned down a man and injured another here on Sunday.
Police said six armed motorcyclists, who have covered their faces with black cloth, sprayed bullets at two persons in Malikabad area of Turbat.
As a result of firing, one of them identified as Umer was killed while Rashid sustained critical wounds. The deceased belonged to Punjab and was a mason by profession, and was currently residing in Southern Dashti Bazaar while the injured belonged to Karachi.  Meanwhile, police arrested two accused including a proclaimed offender in Zhob besides recovering arms and drugs from his possession. A police mobile team during routine patrolling searched a suspected person named Muhammad Deen and recovered a TT pistol, rounds and hashish from him.
Meanwhile, the police during a crackdown arrested proclaimed offender identified as Sardar Gul.
Separate cases have been registered against detainees and investigation was under way.
