Punjabi Taliban deputy chief arrested in Karachi

KARACHI- Special Investigation unit of Karachi police today claimed to have arrested the deputy chief of Punjabi Taliban.

Police official SSP Farooq Awan told journalists that the accused Saeed ul Islam was arrested from Orangi town.

He claimed that the accused was the naib amir of Punjabi Taliban who had got training in North Waziristan Agency.
He alleged that the accused was involved in bank robberies, extortion and kidnapping for ransom.
