Stronger response needed against those humiliating Islam: Nisar

London- Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan held a meeting with United Kingdom's National Security Adviser Sir Kim Darroch, at 10 Downing Street and discussed matters of mutual concern.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that Pakistan and UK had always enjoyed warm and cordial relations, but these relations had attained a new level, during the tenure of present governments in UK and Pakistan.
He said that UK should serve as a bridge between the east and the west, in order to bring about unity in the face of the fight against extremism and militancy. Interior Minister said that Pakistan feels that there must be a stronger and more aggressive global response, against the efforts of certain vested interests to target and humiliate Islam.
Kim Darroch said that UK attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan and the two countries share commonality of views and objectives on many global issues.
