CHISHTIAN - An additional district & sessions judge awarded life imprisonment and fine to four persons including a woman for murder. According to case details, Manzoor Ahmad, a residence of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, arranged marriage of his daughter with Muhammad Farooq s/o Muhammad Yaar of Satellite Town. Afterwards, following repeated quarrels, the Farooq with his sister Nahid Akhtar, father Muhammad Yaar and brother Muhammad Habib murdered his wife Ruqia Manzoor. After hearing the issue, the judge gave Nahid Akhtar, Muhammad Habib each 25 years prison and Rs 100,000 fine and the other respondents Muhammad Yaar, Muhammad Farooq were punished with seven years prison and fifty Rs 50,000 fine each.
