SC takes up NAB chief case tomorrow

ISLAMABAD - The Supreme Court has fixed the hearing of the federal governments miscellaneous petition on Monday (tomorrow), seeking further one-month time to fill the vacant post of the Chairman NAB. A two-member bench of the apex court, comprising Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will hear the governments miscellaneous petition for extension of time in implementing the courts verdict tomorrow (Monday). Additional Attorney General KK Agha on July 20 moved an application in the apex court . He stated that it was not possible for the federal govt to initiate the process of the appointment of Chairman NAB because if the govt would appoint a new chairman NAB and later find that its review petition had been allowed then it would be awkward.
