SAHIWAL - The district coordination officer of Sahiwal directed the price magistrates to launch a special campaign against hoarders and profiteers.
He also urged traders to cooperate with the district administration and follow the prices fixed by the government to facilitate general public.
Chairing a special meeting of the District Price Control Committee at his office, the DCO said that no one would be allowed to fleece people during the holy month. He added that strict action was being taken against non-cooperative traders. He directed secretary market committee to provide rate lists early in the morning to the traders so that price magistrates can check prices according to the lists.  The meeting was also attended by Pir Ihsanul Haq Idrees, Naveed Aslam Loudhi, Sultan Mehmood, Prof Shoaib Sipra, Sarwar, Mian Babar Sagheer and Haji Abdul Latif.
Man died in road mishap: A man died in road mishap here the other day.
As per detail, a 35-year-old unidentified man was crossing the road at Marla Chowk Qaboola when a speeding bus crushed him.
 He died on the spot.
