TALAGANG - A love-marriage couple was shot dead by their relatives for honor here in the Lawa Police precincts on the other day. According the police investigators, one Muhammad Asim tied knot with one Amina Parveen, a resident of Dhok Parhal, Tehsil Talagang, about four month back without the consent of her parents. According to them, the family members of Perveen broke into the house of Asim and showered the couple with bullets, killing the youth on the spot while his wife suffered multiple bullet wounds. The girl was rushed to Rawalpindi Hospital in critical condition where doctors struggled for her life for two days but she could not survive, they added. Mohammad Qasim, brother of slain Mohammad Asim, alleged that Lal Khan, father of Amina and his two sons along with two unidentified accomplices stormed into the house of the couple and let off a volley of gunshots at them. Meanwhile, an FIR (50) was lodged under Section 302 of PPC against the killers. The police claimed to have arrested one of the accused while raids are being conducted to arrest of the others. It is to be noted that this is the second such incident in Talagang during the last couple of days.
