LAHORE- Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri, has termed the ongoing operation “Zarb-E-Azb” as well justified and according to the teachings of Islam and announced his complete support to Pakistan’s armed forces.
He said the Armed Forces are taking part in a Jihad against terrorists and the whole nation is behind the valiant soldiers.Addressing a news conference at Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Lahore today, Dr. Qadri said that he would soon visit IDP camps. He further said that we fully support the army who was fighting to eliminate terrorists from the country.
Dr. Qadri further said Minhaj-Ul-Quran Welfare organization was sending 25,000 bags of medicine and other relief goods to IDP camps which would be distributed among the people of N.W.A with the coordination of Army and KPK government. He demanded the federal government to allocate funds for IDPs in the budget 2014-15.
Qadri said that the PML-N government had repeated the tragedy of June 17 in twin cities. He once again criticized Punjab government and police over alleged torture on his workers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Qadri said he believes in peace and non-violence. Minhaj cleric further added that he could have ordered his workers to storm Raiwind palaces when the Sharif brothers were vandalizing his residence in Lahore. He vowed to take revenge of the deaths of his party workers in Model Town Lahore but only by following the defined legal process against Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif.
