CJP seeks report on Karachi airport incident case

ISLAMABAD- Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani taking notice of the Karachi airport incident has sought report from chairman CAA and Secretary Ministry of  interior.

Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani took notice on an application sent by Mr. Muhammad Nadeem A. Shaikh, Advocate and others through Human Rights Cell, Supreme Court of Pakistan, stating therein that seven persons died on June 24, 2014 at Karachi Airport incident. Eight days have been passed but no legal, moral and financial assistance has been provided by government or any other organization for
the families of deceased persons. The applicant prayed for action and compensation to the families of deceased persons. Taking the cognizance, the Chief Justice of Pakistan sought report from Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority and Secretary M/o Interior, Islamabad within two weeks.
