LAHORE- Senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed has said that misdeeds of the incumbent government in the Centre and Punjab would serve as mass political suicide for it.
Talking to various delegations which called on him at his office today, Mehmood ur Rasheed said that agenda of ruling elite class was not supremacy of law and constitution but politics of own-will and chaos.
He said that use of brutal forces against the political rivals could lead to dire consequences.
The PTI leader said that his party would continue protest against the Lahore tragedy within and outside the Punjab Assembly. Mehmood ur Rasheed said that the government instead of seeking lesson of its
blunders was making more mistakes which were not in its favor.
He said that government can't separate it of Minhaj-uj-Quran secretariat incident as it was the government's responsibility to provide security to the masses.
The opposition leader said peaceful protest is democratic right of political parties and masses and use of force to stop them from doing so is undemocratic and condemnable act.
