islamabad - Offices of district returning officers are open today to receive nomination papers from the intended candidates for the national and provincial assemblies.  The process of filing nomination papers would continue until March 29 while scrutiny of nomination papers would be done from March 30 to April 5.
Last date for filing appeals against acceptance or rejection of the nomination papers is April 9 and tribunals will decide appeals by April 16.
Last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 17 and revised list of candidates will be published on April 18.
The elections will be held on May 11.
