RAWALPINDI - A two-seater Army helicopter went missing while flying over the Chenab River near Wazirabad town in Gujranwala district, officials said on Wednesday.
A pilot and a trainee officer were onboard the helicopter of Pakistan Army Aviation Corps (PAAC) when it crashed into the waterway of the Chenab River. Military rescue teams reached the site for the recovery of the missing personnel and chopper. The missing personnel were identified as Major Bari and Captain Ahmad.
Some unconfirmed media reports suggested that the wreckage of helicopter was recovered while the hunt for the crew was on.
