IDEAS to bring lucrative opportunities for defence industry: Murad Shah

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that, “The IDEAS -2016 will bring to the for even more lucrative opportunities for Pakistani defence industry and parallel industries of foreign countries to help achieve more vialble business prospect than ever before.”

He was delivering his welcome speech to the reception hosted for the participants of IDEAS-2016 participants at the Governor House this late evening.

He said that, “International Defence Exhibition and Seminar, better known as IDEAS, in 9th in the series and has become a long way since its inception in the year 2000.”

He added that, “During the subsequent years, a marked improvement was noted in every IDEAS, where every new exhibition of the series attained better standard as compared to its predecessors.”

He went on saying that, “During all these years, an intimate patronage by all the government, military and civilian departments of Pakistan has proved to be a major source of strength for us.”

Apprising the successful conduct of IDEAS-2016, Syed Murad Ali Shah said, “It provided extremely valuable and interactive forum for the benefit of the scientists, engineers, managers and trade and policy architects, associated with the defence sector of the participating countries.”

“We are thankful to defence export promotion organization, DEPO for providing such a rich and rewarding platform to a large number of countries at IDEA-2016,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that, “IDEAS -2016 would bring to the for even more lucrative opportunities for Pakistani defence industry and parallel industries of foreign countries to help achieve more valuable business prospect than ever before.”

“This will not only help attain better commercial gains, but would also assist the key players achieve almost equitable status in terms of defence potential, thus moving closer to the dream of world peace which is also a vision reflected in IDEAS theme, Arms for Peace,” he concluded.

The reception was attained by all the participants, national and international, of the IDEAs-2106, diplomats, businessmen, cabinet members and senior civil and military bureaucrats.
