CDA ordered to maintain status quo

ISLAMABAD - The Islamabad High Court on Friday directed Capital Development Authority to retain status of Chak Shahzad farmhouse in the name of former President Pervez Musharraf. According to a notice, issued by the Islamabad high court on Friday and served on Chairman CDA and the applicant Baigam Sehba Musharraf, the court rejected Sehbas plea to transfer the farmhouse to her name. It is important to mention here that former first lady Sehba Musharraf, wife of former Pervez Musharraf, moved an application in Islamabad High Court and prayed to direct the CDA to transfer Musharrafs farmhouse in her name. My husband, former President Pervez Musharraf, had gifted me Chak Shahzad farmhouse in October 2003. However, authorities are reluctant to transfer it in my name. I appeal to the honourable court to direct the authorities concerned to transfer it in my name, Sehba appealed to the IHC last week.
