COAS, Saudi defence minister discuss mily co-op

RIYADH - Saudi Arabian Defence Minister Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, who is also the Chief of the Royal Court and Special Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, met on Thursday with COAS Gen Raheel Sharif. During the bilateral meeting at the Prince's office in Al-Maazar District of Riyadh, they discussed areas of the current military cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them. Later, the Minister of Defence and the Pakistan Army Chief held a plenary session and discussed aspects of defence cooperation between the Kingdom and Pakistan and affirmed the two sides continued determination to develop them, Saudi Arabian media reported.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Al-Ayesh, Assistant Minister of Defence; Gen Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, Deputy Chief of General Staff; Fahd Al-Isa, Director General of the Defence Minister's office and Brig. Gen. Saud Al-Huzaim, Saudi Arabian Military Attache in Pakistan.
On the Pakistani side, the meeting was attended by Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of Defence, Director General for Military Operations and Tahir Gelzaz, Military Attache in Riyadh.
