Concern over sale of Mirphurkhas hospital land
 
 
 

MIRPURKHAS - Civil society organisations, trade and growers associations have expressed their grave concern over information regarding sale of costly land of Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas on the basis of cheap rate and called the Sindh government to take notice and stop such kind of efforts without any delay to end resentment of the masses.
Chairman Mirpurkhas Action Committee Azhar Abbas, talking to this scribe said that Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas was situated in the middle of the City and citizens have been getting medical treatment from the hospital.  He said that masses would not allow the government to sell the costly land of Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas.
President Sindh Chamber of Agriculture district Mirpurkhas Mir Haji Zafarullah Talpur has alleged that present government officers have been allotting illegally the government lands to land mafia on cheap rate that was illegal and big loss to the government treasury.
He demanded of the government to immediately stop the sale of costly land of old Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas on cheap rate if there was such kind of matter.
He blamed that due to sale of land of Civil Hospital citizens would be deprived of immediate first aid of medical health facility.  Aftab Qureshi, General Secretary of All Anjuman e Tajiran Mirpurkhas has strongly condemned the information regarding sale of Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas land on cheap rate and warned that citizens would resist any such kind of movement of  govt officers because dozens of different wards including cardiac ward, Ortheopaedic ward, medical ward, surgical ward , eye ward, physiotherapy ward, emergency ward, dialysis center and other departments were successfully working in the premises of Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas.  He called the government to stop such kind of efforts of land mafia and remove the resentment of the masses.
Social worker Muhammad Arif has also condemned the sale of costly land of Civil Hospital and warned that citizens would not allow construction on the land of Civil Hospital.
Human rights activist Kanji Rano Bheel Advocate expressed concern over the above information and said that citizens as well as all stakeholders would not allow to sale the costly land of Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas as it has been giving the medical treatment facilities to the masses of Mirpurkhas division free of cost.
