ISLAMABAD : The Secretariat police have booked two house maids of MNA Shahjehan Muneer and one of their close relatives for allegedly stealing her valuables worth Rs 5.2 million from her apartment in the Parliament Lodges, police sources said yesterday. The police said that the MNA approached the police station and claimed that two of her house maids, Sidra and Lubna, and one of their relatives, Aamir, had stolen her gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 5.2 million from her apartment. According to FIR, the MNA found her diamond, gold ornaments missing from her apartment and suspected that her maids were involved in it.
The allegations of the MNA have put a serious question mark on the security of the lodges where CCTV cameras are installed.
