ATC gets cops’ phone record in BB murder

RAWALPINDI - Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Forensic Expert Assistant Director (AD), Noman Ashraf Bodla, presented full record of the mobile phones of former City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Saud Aziz and former SP Rawal Town Khurram Shehzad before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) here on Saturday in PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto (BB) assassination case.
Moreover, prosecution’s four witnesses including FIA Assistant Director Noman Ashraf Bodla, Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) Director Internet Feroz Alam, WARID Telecom’s Usman Maftoon and Special Magistrate Rawalpindi Chaudhry Taufeeq recorded their statements before Judge Shahid Raffique, who took up BB murder case at Adayal Jail.
Anti-Terrorism Court No 1 Judge postponed till January 7, 2012 the proceeding in BB assassination case. On the other hand, FIA Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar filed yet another application before the court requesting to set his already pending two applications aside regarding day-to-day hearing of the Benazir Bhutto murder case.
