LHC declares plea against Indian PM Modi as inadmissible

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday declared plea seeking case against Indian Prime Minister Nerender Modi as inadmissible.

Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah heard the case during which the plaintiff’s lawyer alleged that Indian brutalities in held Kashmir are being carried out on the directives of Modi.

He said that the Kashmiris have been stranded in their houses by imposing curfew. He said that the Indian atrocities are deplorable and therefore, the court should take action against PM Modi.

The lawyer also urged to launch investigation into the matter under terrorism provisions.

LHC CJ retained the objection and directed the claimant to contact subordinate court in this regard.
