PESHAWAR: The police arrested 93 suspects including illegal Afghan nationals during search operation in the provincial capital today.

SSP Hayatabad, Hassan Fazal said that the police conducted search operation against outlaws and anti-state elements in Hayatabad locality of the provincial capital Peshawar.

During search operation also participated by ladies police and sniffer dogs, the police conducted house to house search operation, arrested 93 including seven illegal Afghan immigrants, 27 suspects and 59 involved in violation of Section 144.  

Arms including two rifles, three pistols, one Kalashnikov and drugs of different types were recovered during the operation.

The police confiscated the recovered arms, drugs and after registering cases against the detainees have started the investigation.
