HASILPUR - The people of the area have expressed deep concern over the highhandedness of Motor Registration Branch of the District Excise and Taxation Department (E&T).
They alleged that corruption in the department was at peak and no body was there to check it which had been causing a great deal of hardship for the vehicle owners as the vehicles/motorbikes registration had became an uphill task without giving bribe.
The motor registration branch clerk has been allegedly involved in a number of misdeeds, misappropriation of the official amount with the connivance of the high-ups which needed early attention by the Authority concerned to save public and national exchequer.
