580 educators get appointment letters

SIALKOT - Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has stressed a need for providing equal educational opportunities to students in urban and rural areas.  He said that the PML-N government was striving to curb the menace of ignorance through spreading the light of education as per the vision of the government by promoting the public-private partnership in the sector. He stated this while addressing the participants of a special ceremony held at the Sports Gymnasium Narowal here after distributing the appointment letters to 580 newly recruited educators.  The federal minister urged the teachers and parents to focus on the character building of the students and stressed a need for bringing change in the social attitude towards the promotion of quality education for all and removing hurdles from the way of the  noble cause.  He said, “Ihe students are the future of the country and all of us should secure their educational future by ensuring their easy access to quality education in the society.”
He also stressed collective efforts for promotion of education to enhance literacy rate. He said there was an immediate need to root out illiteracy at grassroots level to bring about radical changes in every sphere of life. He called for changing the education system and removing disparities to ensure even opportunities to all in the country.
Local MPAs Khawaja Waseem Butt, Rana Manan and Awais Qasim, Narowal DCO Syed Najaf Iqbal and President PML-N Narowal district Malik Tariq Awan were also present.
