LANDIKOTAL - At least five militants were killed and several others reported injured in US drone attack here on late on Monday.
Sources said that unmanned US spy plane targeted a compound in Nazian area near Pak-Afghan border.
Four missiles were fired on the compound resultantly it was razed to ground.
Three militants were reported killed in the attack while several others were injured. However, independent sources have not confirmed the actual number of casualties as the area is restricted for media persons.
Some sources said that the attack was conducted on a tip-off regarding presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) key commanders in the compound.
Meanwhile, another report said that the site of the attack is near the zero-line but in Afghan area.
Identity of the militants killed is yet to be ascertained. There is also no confirmation from the Afghan government or the CIA which allegedly operates drone operations along Pak-Afghan border.
