LONDON- Former AJK Prime Minister and Central Leader of Pakistan People's Party, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chuahdry will kick off "Kashmir Million March" from Trafalgar Square to British Prime Minister House at 10-Downing Street in London where the participants would present a memorandum.
To make this march successful, Barrister Sultan has been very active in the United Kingdom (UK) for the last couple of weeks. It is pertinent to mention that the "Million March" raised a sign of impatience in India when its request to British government to stop this demonstration was out rightly rejected.
The British Government replied that freedom of speech was a fundamental right of every one and our democratic tradition allow public meetings, adding how the British government could snatch this right from these demonstrators.
In this connection, last day, Barrister Sultan visited the British Parliament and held meetings with deferent parliamentarians to present his stance over the Kashmir million-march.
He informed them that he planned this rally to highlight the right of self-determination granted by the United Nations to the Kashmiri people. Barrister Sultan also informed the parliamentarians that he received threats from Indian sides so as to India would abolish our relations with UK.
He maintained that Kashmir March was going to make history in the world adding that so many groups of demonstrators were on their way to participate in this rally.
This march got significance as human right organizations, large number of members of European and British parliament and different organizations announced their support to the marchers, he added.
He maintained that, efforts to stop this march by Indian Foreign Minister, Shusma Sauraj showed frustration from their side as this march becomes centre of eye of the world which would leave sound effects over Kashmir Independence Movement, he added.
