ISLAMABAD - Implementation Commission on 18th Constitutional Amendment on Monday took up the issues regarding devolution of three more ministries including Environment, Sports and Women Development to the provinces. The meeting, held under the chair of Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, was given detailed briefing by the officials of Federal Ministry for Environment. Later, the matter of employees of these ministries came under discussion and once again the commission reiterated that like in the past not even a single employee of any of these three ministries would be rendered jobless. Sources in the Implementation Commission informed The Nation that the matter of formation of a new body to replace Higher Education Commission was deferred for the time being and the members said that they would take up these contentious issues after the devolution of these three ministries.
