TANDLIANWALA- An influential landlord along with his accomplices bulldozed four houses and injured seven peasants today.
Nousher, an influential landlord hailing from Chak No 505 of Tandlianwala asked the local peasants for harvesting his wheat crop. Upon refusal the accused along with his 40 accomplices stormed the houses of poor peasants. The attackers brutally tortured the labourers injuring seven persons including women besides bulldozing their four houses. The assailants opened aerial firing creating panic in the area and escaped the scene after committing the crime. The police despite being informed haven't registered a case against the culprits neither any of the accused has been arrested.
The affected families have appealed the Chief Minister Punjab to take notice of the incident and direct the police for action against the influential landlord as police feared to take any action against the accused.
