KASUR - Kasur police claimed to have busted a gang involved in transformers theft and recovered 8 transformers, a snatched motorcycle, illicit weapons and cash worth Rs 100,000 on Wednesday. This was stated by DPO Kasur in a hand out. Due to the rising incidents of transformers theft in Kasur and Khudian town, DPO Kasur constituted a team, that, following a tip off, arrested four accused including the ring leader Sarwar, Rahmat, Nazir and Taj while 7 other accused managed to escape.
