ANF recovers narcotics in ops

RAWALPINDI - Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out operations against drug mafia in various parts of the country and recovered 2.5 tons narcotics, informed ANF spokesman here on Monday.
According to him, ANF launched four operations in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar and Pishin and recovered of 2509-kg Opium, 2-kg Charas and 270-grams heroin, while three persons were apprehended and one vehicle was seized. Most of the recovered drug was destined abroad. The value of recovered narcotics was told to be million of rupees in international market, he added.
