ISLAMABAD- COAS General Raheel Sharif today warned India, saying that Pakistan would give a befitting response to any provocation along the Line of Control and the working boundary.
General Raheel visited areas affected by Indian firing along the working boundary near Sialkot.
“Let there be no doubt that any provocation along the Line of Control will meet a befitting response,” the army chief was quoted as saying by Director General ISPR Major General Asim Bajwa.
General Raheel blamed India for trying to distract Pakistan’s campaign against militants through such incidents at the border. He met troops and the local residents during his visit.
