Blast leaves girl critical



RAHIM YAR KHAN - A teenage girl sustained critical burns in a blast occurred when she was preparing meal ‘apparently’ due to gas leakage here on Wednesday.
As per detail, 17-year-old Ayesha, a resident of Fatehpur, was burnt when she was busy in cooking at kitchen. Aysha’s mother Zarina told the media that her daughter was preparing lunch when suddenly they heard a blast in the kitchen. The sound was so intense that her neighbours also reached her home. She told that her husband rushed to the kitchen and brought Ayesha out, who was burnt badly. She said that Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted her daughter to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
According to doctors at hospital, she has sustained 70 percent burns and is critical. The doctors referred her to the burnt unit of upper Punjab due to the critical burns she had received.
