OUR STAFF REPORTER SIALKOT - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday nabbed two accused of human trafficking from the Sialkot city and Glotiyaan, Daska. The detainees are Sadiq Shah and Muhammad Haneef and accomplices of main accused Zahid Gondal and Shahid Gondal, the two brothers, who have escaped to Greece earlier, said FIA Gujranwala Region Deputy Director Gul Sanobar Khan while talking to the media. The main human traffickers Zahid Gondal and Shahid Gondal, their agents and sub agents had extorted heavy amounts from six youngsters from Chak Gillan East, Daska, by sending them to Greece illegally, he said, adding that the youth, identified as Bilal Ahmed, Aamir, Muhammad, Zeeqaad, Pervaiz and Muhammad Imran, died from suffocation on July 20 in bid to enter Greece from Turkey in a container. The FIA deputy director disclosed that the FIA unearthed a national network of the human traffickers in Sialkot, saying that the special FIA teams were in hunt for them and their accomplices.
