MATLI- Several gunmen opened fire today at a police checkpost in Matli tehsil of the Badin District, killing a policeman in the process.

These were unidentified terrorists and the policeman Ibrahim Mahar died on the spot. The police have cordoned off the area after the affair and initiated an investigation of the incident.
