ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court today suspended non-bailable arrest warrant of Model girl Ayyan Ali till September 21, in customs inspector murder case.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Amir Hani heard the case, during which Ayyan’s lawyer Latif Khosa told the court that when customs officer Ijaz Afzal was murdered, Ayyan Ali was in jail.
He said that Ayyan’s life is in danger, as miscreants can also kill her like Qandeel Baloch.
The judge said that the judiciary cannot interfere in the investigation process as a proper case was lodged against the model, but the accused can apply for pre-arrest bail.
While talking to media, Latif Khosa said that the officials had changed legal policies in Ayyan case which is condemnable. He also said that Ayyan was taken to different courts for the bail.
