Multan- Funeral prayers of Major Yasir and Captain Murtaza were offered today. Pilot Major Yasir and co-pilot Captain Murtaza were killed in a Pakistan Army's helicopter crashed at Multan airport's runway on Wednesday night.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major Yasir belonged to Jhang and Captain Murtaza was from Lahore.
The bodies of the officers were sent to their ancestral cities after the funeral prayers. According to military sources, a dust storm that hit the aviation base as the helicopter was taking off, could have been a factor in the crash.
