Pakistan to rise on pillars of law, democracy and development projects: PM

ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stated that whilst the government has begun the process of negotiations to overcome the menace of terrorism, the efforts for peace have been foiled by terrorists themselves.

He had addressed a delegation of the Pakistan Bar Council that had called on him at the Prime Minister House. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Information Parvaiz Rashid, Minister for Science & Technology Zahid Hamid as well as Attorney General of Pakistan Salman Aslam Butt.

According to the PM, “Law bars of Pakistan are significant pillars of judicial process which play an important role in the provision of speedy and inexpensive justice to the weaker and vulnerable sections of society.”

He had further stressed that the future of Pakistan is solely associated with democracy.

While discussing the developmental and economic issues with the delegation, Sharif had remarked, “Insha’Allah we will successfully tackle the issue of load-shedding in our tenure. Our government has embarked on unprecedented developmental projects which will reduce poverty and create millions of job opportunities in the country.”
