PEI donates Rs3m medical, surgical consumables to KTH

PESHAWAR - Poverty Eradication Initiative (PEI), a non-profit social welfare organisation, on Wednesday donated medical and surgical consumables worth Rs3 million to the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH).
The medical and surgical consumables were handed over to the Chief Executive (CEO) KTH Professor Dr Mehmood Aurangzeb by the PEI Public Health Coordinator Dr Bilal Khan in a ceremony held at the KTH. The hospital administration had arranged the event to this effect.
PEI Executive Director and Pakistan Honorary Investment Counsellor at Vancouver (Canada) Shahid Yusaf, Programme Implementation Expert Tayyab Hussain and Programme Officer Mustafa Musarat were also present on the occasion.
The medical and surgical supplies would be provided free of cost to the deserving and underprivileged patients.
