KHYBER AGENCY - Three minors were killed and two other injured when roof of a room was caved in the wee hours of Monday in Fatmi Khel area of Tehsil Landi Kotal.
The sources said that at Sunday night (2:00a.m), the boundary wall of the house of one Tajerullah Shinwari collapsed and came down upon the roof of a room. As a result, the roof caved in which buried wife of Tajerullah along with his four children under the debris.
The neighbours launched relief works, retrieved the injured and shifted them to Landi Kotal Hospital for treatment where the doctors pronounced three children, including a girl, dead after examinations. The deceased were identified as Muhammad(5),Aziz(7) and Madiha (4). The sources said that the woman and a girl were saved and their conditions were out of danger.
The cause of the incident was stated to be torrential rain for the last four days.
