KMU reschedules MBBS exams


PESHAWAR - The Khyber Medical University has rescheduled the MBBS final year annual examination 2012 due to the announcement of date for the upcoming general elections on May 11.
According to the earlier timetable issued by the examination section of KMU, the MBBS final year annual Examination 2012 was scheduled from May 10 while after rescheduling timetable now the exam would be started from May 18 and would be completed on June 18, 2013.
The MBBS final year exam would be held simultaneously throughout the province at nine examination centres, including Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Khyber Girls Medical College Hayatabad Peshawar, Ayub Medical College Abbotabad, Saidu Medical College Swat, Gomal Medical College D.I. Khan, Abbotabad International Medical College, Abbotabad, Women Medical College Abbotabad, KMU Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat and Bannu Medical College Bannu.
In a notification issued by examination section of the university after approval of the competent authority mentioned that the paper of Medicine-A would be held on May 18, Medicine-B May 21, Pediatrics May 24, Surgery-A May 27, Surgery-B May 30, Gynae-A June 3, Gynae- B June 6, ENT June 10, and Eye on June 13, 2013  respectively.
The new rescheduled timetable has been circulated to all the relevant examination centres and principles of the respective public and private medical colleges of the province.
